We usually respond within three days

L'Enclume, located in the beautiful village of Cartmel in the Lake District, has been awarded 3 Michelin stars, 1 Michelin Green star, 5AA Rosettes and was voted #1 restaurant in the UK in The Good Food Guide 2020. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional local and seasonal ingredients via our carefully curated tasting menus and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. We are open 5 days a week for Dinner - Tuesday - Saturday and 4 for Lunch - Wednesday - Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We are excited to be able to offer Stagiaire placements within our kitchen and front of house teams at L’Enclume in Cartmel, welcoming chefs to join our team to expand their knowledge and experience in a professional, Michelin-starred kitchen environment.

Placements are generally for a minimum commitment of one week, and applicants are required to show possession of a valid visa and/or work permit. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate professional kitchen skills and a committed work history.

Candidates must be creative, flexible and have a can do attitude along with an obsessive passion for food and, above all, possess a willingness to embrace our ethos and believe in our principles.

Our stagiaire programmes are unpaid, and unfortunately we are unable to offer accommodation.

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
